Night Vision

I shot some video's with a night vision Camera of insects, the video is mostly pitch black, I was wondering if there were any tweaks or flags I could use to compress the video's as optimally as possible.

I'm taking the time to ask because I've got more than 500 hours of footage and I need to place them on an FTP, so if there's anything I can do to improve the file size I shall.

What settings have you already tried and what didn't you like about the results with those settings?

If there is a lot of ISO noise in the video due to the low light levels, try using a denoiser like hqdn3d.

Chroma noise is very well handled with fft3dfilter / fft3dgpu, both of which are AviSynth filters.
