@onatskii
each crc error would lead to silence of about 32ms.
two crc errors is 64ms and that's notHing for a 2.5hours track.
that's why i suggested that you'd ignore it and carry on :) .

Cheers,
Dg.

Would many crc errors result in out of sync audio?

CRC error means that there was an error in the bistream.
now, crc error could caused by an error with the crc field. in this case, BeSweet will simply ignore that damaged frame and replace it with frame of silenece - no sync problem.
crc error could also caused by a broken chains of frames, meaning the # of frames in the ac3 is different from the original stream.
in this case, the audioable length would be shorter - sync problem.

i usually suggest my users to set -core( -halt 20 ). this will force BeSweet to quit after 20 errors, assuming, the ac3 is badly broken.

I'm having the same CRC problem, but I get about 40 CRC errors and the movie slowly falls out of sync. I'm attempting to re-edit Memento so that the movie will run in chronological order (anyone who's seen it will know what I mean). I've used smartripper to extract each chapter as an individual VOB. Then I've renumbered the VOB's so the original chapters are now a different order. I've tried ifoedit to regenerate a new IFO with my reordered chapters to try and fix the crc problem but I'm still out of luck. Does anyone know a better way of acomplishing this, with the sound staying in sync?

if you have a lot of CRC errors, this means that the movie was badly ripped (extracted). Try again with another copy (if the original is scratched) or another DVD-rom drive.
