Not exactly an issue as it is a feature, but it is an issue for me. When watching a video, if i hit the back or forward buttons on my mouse it switched to a previous video i have watched in the past. Then i can't get back to the video i was just watching so i have to reopen it and search for the scene i was at. problem is, i accidentally hit those buttons often. I can't find anywhere that those videos are saved, as most are deleted. But it must save temp versions of them somewhere. Ideally i would like to be able to set it so it does NOT keep a cache of previous videos or make the back/forward buttons have no effect. But i have gone over options with a fine tooth comb and anything that looked remotely like it would stop this didn't work. Is there a way to get MPC to stop recongnising the back/forward mouse buttons? thanks.

Two options you can try:
View-> Options-> Player-> Remember file position, so the video opens at the old spot.

View-> Options-> Tweaks-> Don't use search in folder on commands skip back/forward when only one item in playlist.
