Hi,

in few words after thinking a lot about how to compose it I built an HTPC. The choice of the components has been made also in relation to the software that I would use with that, but actually I've got some doubt. So I'm gonna describe them with few questions and I hope someone can give an answer:

1) Actually I'm using MPHC but in the past (with another PC) I used PotPlayer. Now if I'm right using a nVidia video card with MadVR and LAV Filters (Audio, Video and Splitter) using a player or another one in theory should make no difference. Right?

2) What should I set/choose to have the best video result? In general looks like the combo MadVR+LAV Filters (and nothing more) is the best one, but I've got some doubt since in the past I used another renderer plus sharpencomplex and I think I got better image details. So which settings/parameters should I use to achieve the best image quality?

3) About the question n.2, I noticed that using MPHC (+MadVR+LAV) with SVP (Smooth Video Project) with 720p movies, like tv serials, I've got some artifacts in the video, something like this for example:

Sometimes is even worse. In general is clear to be seen when on the screen there are objects/images with many horizontal lines (like the one of this pic)

Does anybody know how to solve it?

Thank you very much!

Thats how SVP will always look. Can't really help it.
Personally, i rather have a bit of 24p judder then those artifacts.
