Trying to play a blueray file with MPC HC
This is a m2ts file with DTS Audio.
I can get the video to play in MPC HC but do not get any audio.
Am using MPC-HomeCinema.1.6.0.4014.x86 and windows7 32 bit OS.
This is the set up instructions i followed.
When i play an mkv file i get the ffdshow video, audio and subtitles icons
in taskbar and works fine.

best software combination to watch encodes would be the latest FFDshow tryouts + MPC HC. Here's how:
1) Uninstall/remove any previous codec packs you might be using and restart your PC if necessary!
2) Download and install the latest versions of these:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpc-hc/files/
http://haali.su/mkv/
3) Open MPC HC and press O to go to Options.
4) Go to Playback / Output, under DirectShow Video choose Overlay Mixer. If you have a newer video card which supports DXVA, you might want to select Ever Custom Pres. ** instead. But I personally find that reproduction of pure black is better under Overlay Mixer.
5) Go to External Filters, hit the Add Filter button and add these three filters (one at a time):
- FFDshow video decoder
- FFDshow audio decoder
- FFDshow subtitles filter
6) Then click on each one of them from the list and to the right, set them to prefer. Then hit OK to accept all changes and make sure you close MPC HC for it to accept the new settings.
6) Open an mkv with MPC HC. Two red FFv and a blue FFa one should show up in your system tray. Hover your mouse on the one that says ffdshow subtitles filter and double click on it. Tick Subtitles on the left and hit OK.
