View Full Version : Index specific title only from full dvd structure?

First of all, I'm not sure where to post this, so please feel free to move this if needed. Is there a way to select the whole file structure of a dvd and then select a specific title number to be indexed, like a particular episode in a show? Or must I load the whole dvd, then set the brackets and approximate where the episode starts and ends? I was stupid and ripped the whole file structure of several of my dvds rather than by title and I don't want to bother copying it again, episode by episode... The reason why I'm asking this is because Handbrake does this very thing and allows you to select the title and chapter from the whole dvd, already ripped or not. Thanks for any advice!

No. Re-rip per episode.

To (potentially) save time versus re-ripping from the physical DVDs, try pointing PGCDemux at the VIDEO_TS folder and then use it to output a new VOB or set of VOBs containing only a particular title. PGCDemux can do what DVD Decrypter does in IFO mode, without decrypting. Then these new VOB(s) can be fed to DGIndex as usual because they will only contain e.g. the main movie or a trailer.
