MeGui MP4 & M2TS encoding errors

I set up MeGui to encode files from DVD to MP4 or M2TS and i keep getting errors and not sure to why.

MP4/ M2TS I am using X264. Set to high, 4.1, slower, 3000 bitrate on 2 pass and turbo ticked.

Audio with MP4/ M2TS I have tried AC3 ffmpeg i think its called, set to 320. And AAC i have tried the nero aac codec and the AAC which is first on the list. Only the nero AAC will give me a finished file in MP4.

WIth both MP4 & M2TS it also fails if i select to copy audio.

Why is this. IS this due to the containers. Hmmmmmm Grrrrrrr:mad:

Zathor thanks for gettign back to me. Stupidly I did not realise where the log files were kept but i think maybe i got the errors because i was trying illegal operations wit MP4 trying to add AC3 audio where my problems occured

I have hardware which plays MKVs so I am doing all in MKV for a much smoother experience. They FWD smoothly and play smoothly.
But again last nite with MeGui I converted a DVD rip to MKV and chose to copy audio for two audio streams. 1) AC3 3.2.1 & 2) The DTS 5.1 stream. I got an error and have posted the log.

Its a shame that with ripbot you cant add more then one stream as ripbot runs superb and does exactly what I want to do without probs.

The log is below. As you can see the error is at the end with the AC3 track. (I had to copy & Paste as it wouldnt let me attach the txt file)

The log is below. As you can see the error is at the end with the AC3 track.

Like you can see the AC3 track extracted by DGIndex is corrupt.
You can try extract the AC3 track with other tool, like PgcDemux, and check with DelayCut.

If the track is still corrupt maybe you need clean your DVD and re-rip

Not too sure if its corrupt. If i play the TS folder through VLC player it plays fine. I can select all 4 audo streams and play each one which they all play fine.

I have also encoded the file using ripbot264 to see if it would work. It did work with the AC3. I would have been happy but i want 2 soundtracks. AC3 copied & the DTS soundtrack copied.

If "VTS 01 1.mkv" play fine for you then no problem.
