where are these svcd profiles?

Hi all,
on page : http://www.doom9.org/mpg/lsx-main.htm
it refers to some lsx svcd profiles being available on
the downloads page. I am unable find them.
If anybody has any further info, please post.

lsx includes its own svcd profiles since v3.5 so there was no reason of having my own anymore

yes, I realize that. I was just looking for further clues as
to the Advanced/Input menu;
two settings, "Deinterlace Input Picture" & "Detect Inverse Telecine-
3:2 pulldown"
Do these settings have any applicability to an svcd m2v,
encoded as progressive/23.96? when
the input file is the dvd2avi/VFAPI "dummy" AVI file, and "force film"
was selected within dvd2avi.
I tried all four permutaions of the two settings on a single
DVD chapter (for testing purposes) and beyond the fact that decoding time ranged from12 - 20 minutes, depending on what was selected,
I couldn't see much difference quality-wise.

not 100% sure about the 2nd one but you definitely don't need the first one and I think the same applies for the 2nd one. If you can tell me what the tooltip or documentation says about the 2nd parameter I can make sure.. I don't even have lsx anymore.

This is what the blurb says, right above the selection:
"this option often helps to improve quality of video made from
24 fps original film source, that results in duplicated video
fields"

The gist of it is that I think lsx is higher quality than tmpgenc,
but I can't get lsx to work properly.

definitely don't use that option then.. and as for quality.. cce still rules but it appears that tmpg 2.51 has catched up.. lsx was never quite up to par.

Interesting comment about lsx. In the two short clips I tried
(a single chapter from "the Mummy" and "yellow submarine"),
LSX produced a file (m2v) that had a lower Avg. bit-rate than
tmpgenc and a higher Q level.
Viewing the material showed that LSX handled the high-motion scenes
better.
Having said that, it might be moot 'cause I can't get it to work with
LSX - specifically, running pulldown.exe on the m2v and MUXing
with the audio in Tmpgenc. The video finishes about 10 seconds
before the audio.
