MKV v1 to MKV v2 Upgrade

I have some old videos in MKV v1 containers, maybe a few v2 as well, I plan to "upgrade" them to mkvtoolnix v5.3.0... with all other options being unchanged from the original... It will be put in a "batch" loop, of course...

Is the following command correct?
"C:\Program Files (x86)\MKVToolNix\mkvmerge.exe" -o "output.mkv" "input.mkv"
