Alright I downloaded this software burned it to a cd and worked great on the DVD-Rom but I thought it was supposed to work on a regular one... I have a Panasonic DVD-Player and it says "This type of disc cannot be played. Please insert a different disc."??? please help me and tell me if it is just my dvd player or if I just burned it wrong... I would appreciate it.

I have a panasonic as well. It may be able to play silver SVCD, but it refuses to read CDR. The manual says not to put CDRs in the player as it might damage them. Guess we should be thankful it refuses to play them.

Incidentally, my Panasonic will allow playback from a CDRW (and it doesn't appear to damage them), but it can't read at 2x, so if I try an SVCD, playback is very choppy and riddled with errors. A VCD, with it's lower bitrate, would probably work.
