Is it possible to invoke BD-Rebuilder from a command-line or have it be automatically executed from a script?
I have searched and read through posts etc. for hours, and can't seem to find any discussion of it. I see the "batch" feature in the GUI, but that's something else, and needs human interaction.
It HAS to be possible, I keep thinking.. the usefulness of a tool like this is much much more if it's scriptable.

The batch feature really doesn't require any interaction after you've set it up... you can add a dozen jobs and not interac until they're all done.

one way i could see a cli nice was in delayed encoding. As in create a windows scheduler event to call a cmd file? that fires up BDRB and starts the batch queue or last used folder in the last known encode config. BDRB would then start the encode provided the system is up and running at the scheduled time.

jdobbs, Thanks a lot for your prompt attention and interest. As you probably well understand, having even a basic CLI ability would make it possible to integrate BD-Rebuilder into automated flows and unattended scripts. The key is not to have human interaction or mouse clicking. For example, I usually rip full BDs and put them into folders with DVDFab. I can follow up immediately with calling BDRebuilder to make a shrink version of the rip, or I can have a periodic script do the same over some monitored folders. Other such usage scenarios are possible too, once the basic building block of BDRebuilder script is available.
At a most basic level, you can provide a
1) /start and /close switches which automatically starts the tool and quits after completion . Everything else can be read from config files (if you already read them). The user can make a template config file to use.
2) /src and /dest switches if possible.
3) Any other useful switches if you want to provide, but as long as they're available in the config file, the user can have different config/project files to use for various usages.
I haven't used dvd-rebuilder but it looks like you had some CLI support there? It'd be natural to use a similar interface if it makes sense. Else, DVDdecrypter, imgburn, dvdfab all seem so support some CLI like imgburn cli (http://forum.digital-digest.com/f106/imgburn-user-guide-55424-2.html#post553558) which you use ofcourse??

jdobbs,
Do I need to put in this "feature request" in another thread, or is this enough to get on your "list" ? I don't mean to ask you any ETA etc :) , but want to make sure it's mentioned in the right place, so I just leave it to you to get to it if/when you can.
thanks
