BD-Drive recommendation

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can recommend a good BD-Drive?

I remember back in the DVD ages, you had to take care that it could be flashed with some custom firmwares (rpc1) to remvoe Region Code locks and rip locks...

So i was wondering if i also have to look for BD-Drives for whom custom firmwares are out (to remove BD rip lock or reset Region Code)?

Since the CD times I always used LGs.
Not always the fastest but the quietest.

If it is used outside your HT - this point becomes moot...

I used everything else but LGs up to Blu-rays, but the LGs are the perfect readers for all three media.

Ditto on that, I have an LG GGC-H20L that i have had since 2008. Its got the custom firmware. its been able to decrypt so far up to MKB 27. :p
