At least partially due to its continuing store closures (with promises of new ones to open "eventually"), the Dish Network's Blockbuster franchise is not very subtly making an all out effort to both reduce and refresh its inventory. Go into one of the stores and you'll readily see what I mean - significant floorspace occupied by previously viewed Blu-rays and DVDs for sale at extremely low prices (e.g. Blu-rays at $5.00 each or two for $7.00, DVDs at 5 for $7.00) - and, if you're "into" the art of negotiating, as I've been for MANY years, you can even obtain brand new Blu-rays (including some retail versions) at $7.00 or so.
From what I've been told (But "never heard it from any Blockbuster management", so you didn't hear it from me), for the time being, any reasonable offer from any customer will likely be accepted...
