Hi all,
My partner teaches film and currently uses DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink's reauthoring mode to rip DVDs and create compilations of the clips to show in class, but is moving to a mac and I was wondering if there's a tool for OSX that has similar functionality for ripping short chunks of several films and sticking them onto a disc without having to transcode in the process.
A less pleasant solution would be to use handbrake to rip the films to mv4 and then use iMovie to edit together the clips, but this always seems to be a massive pain in the ass / time sink.
Any top tips?
