Hi.

This afternoon a friend came and gave me a bunch of new Avisynth filters. Since that, I have been noticing malfunctions on avisynth usage related stuff.

Now it seems like I have managed to fix all of them. Apparently. I'm dealing with a AvsP error now, look:

Well, the last part is in spanish, tranlation here:

CoInitialize hasn't been called.

It's funny because if I open AvsP and then load the avs from inside it ("File" tab and then "Open..."), it works OK. But if I directly launch the avs (they are set default to open with AvsP) the problem appears at some point. This error only shows up when I do Ctrl+C or Ctrl+X or something related to the clipboard, apparently.

Please give me some help, is really annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried avspmod: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=153248
I believe this problem is fixed.

Same happens. Something is wrong, despite versions of AvsP. I think. But I don't have any clues.... where should I look?

Thx for the answer anyway, can you guys think of something else?

Strange, I don't believe I have ever seen this exact problem before.
Since you say it happened after a friend gave you some filters, I'm inclined to believe that this may have something to do with it.
What if you try removing all of those filters?

I can't, he just gave me a "plugins" folder and I combined it with mine.

Judging from your other post you now may have conflicting versions of plugins, avs and or avsi in your plugins folder
after merging the content of your own plugins folder with the content from your friend's plugin folder.
I suggest to set Explorer View to Details, select Column "Modified" and pull all newer files into a plugins_new folder,
then pull the newer ones back one by one, always checking your scripts to be able to be run.

OK, so I deleted all of them. Some of them replaced some of mine so I had to download them again. Anyway, the AvsP problem seems to be solved. I'll post in a few days to confirm that (I hope). Thank you all.
