Hi im not new to dvd encoding since i have done this a couple of years, BUT im new to Blue ray.

I have some question i hope ppl can help me out cause they are not so complexed.

1. i ALLWAYS do movie only backups cause i not care extras and other stuff and i allways chose only 1 audio and 1 sub, so many movies fall under the 23.5Gb after this but some longer movies dont.
So my question is should i keep the HD audio or not to save some space, and allso how big can the movie be before i will notice on a 50 inch before its been reecoded.
This question comming up since i seen DL discs becomming cheaper.

2. if i use BD RB to have the iso file as outout to burn with imgburn on a later stage do i need to make any settings in Imgburn or are all the settings in the iso allready?.

3. This question maybe shouldnt be here but i ask anyway maybe someone knows, to get forced subs on dvd i used dvdsubedit cause many movies today have like 20-30 lines spoken in a different language then eng, so is there a similar software for bluerays to do the same cause i hate having to put the subs on just for some lines in the movie.

I hope i made my self clear and that someone have the energy to help

1. It's best not to keep HD audio. Tests show that the difference between HD and normal compressed audio is not detectable to the human ear. So what's the point?

2. The settings are used to create and are within the ISO -- you just burn it.

3. Just keep all the subs. They are incredibly small and there's really no reason not to. Also, if the subs are forced on the original they will remain forced in your movie-only backup.

Tanx again for ur help1. Leave the settings at their default.

3. Leave AnyDVD's settings at their default. I do discs with forced subs all the time -- and haven't changed any AnyDVD settings. Playback might depend on what player you are using. Software players on PCs are notoriously error prone.
