The music works in mpc-hc, but when trying to open in foobar2000, nothing get's imported to the "now playing" list. Sound of different types work fine in foobar2000, just not aac? I encoded with nero HE aac, just incase that makes a difference.

Hi there,

That file is not a .aac (ADTS), it is a .MP4.

Besides, it seems it was muxed incorrectly. :mad:

Remuxing with ffmpeg :devil: made it playable by foobar2000.

Yes, the file is actually mp4. But nothing wrong with it. Plays fine with latest foobar if renamed correctly.

Also you can add support for extra formats (like Monkey's Audio .ape and so on) by installing required decoder components:
