Hi all:
When using Avidemux's MJPEG option to encode a video, what does the "quantiser" option mean? Do you achieve more quality with a larger number, or a smaller one? (I know that the MJPEG encoder is really the one in libavcodec, but couldn't find anything in the libavcodec documentation).
Also, I've been trying to use the "Split every MB" option in the AVI muxer, but I'm getting very inconsistent results. If I tell it to split the AVI every 6000 Mb., for example, it will split them every 2000 Mb, and so on. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? (I'm using version 2.5.4).
