MVTools - small search range?

Hi, i have simple question. What would be the setting which could improved quality and speed of the motion search if I know that the vectors would be at maximum 2 pixels long? I definitely don't need to look for 10pixels or so vectors. ITOH, I'd like to have pel=4.
