Weired frame displacement

I am trying to capture a video with avi_io using the Huffyuv codec. No frames are dropped, but some frames in the video are strangly displaced.

For example if the normal frame sequence would be 1 2 3 4 5 my sequence would be something like 1 4 2 3 5.

What am I doing wrong?

hmm unfortunately i can't offer any help however, i have noticed another problem where playback is faster than what it should be - even though no frames have been droped (only noticed with the huffyuv codec in avi_io - vd capture to huffy works fine).


what capture card are you using?
