I was wondering if any anyone could assist in solving an encoding related issue I am trying to deal with:

The links below are snippets of a recorded DTT stream.
I am trying to understand what is special about this stream, and why it is not playing back easily on iPad / Android devices.
I was trying to play it back both using TS (wrapped as HLS stream) and an MP4 stream.

Thanks,
Dubi

First of all i didn't know that Android for example can parse H.264 .ts by default ?
and what do you mean with easily ? you need to be a little more specific here

You mean it doesn't playback @ all it's choppy it shows problems ?

Without knowing anything of the platform you trying to play this on in detail it's just like guessing, though my experience with apples video framework (restrictions) especially native on mac and their mobile devices is also limited

3 main areas in one of them could your problem be

1.Parser
2.Decoder (Hardware,Software)
3.Renderer

Though 1 thing for sure you have to go to really good 3rd parties or ffmpeg to make a good multimedia tablet or settopbox ;)

@dubilev

dongle_3 seems damaged not every parser/decoder will handle that correctly @ playback you could fix it first with something like VideoRedo :)
