HD-PVR - hauppauge - What Capture Software?

Hi there...

I have a HDPVR and have been using it for a year or more fine with the default software, but when I got a new system I couldn't find the old install CD and can not for the life of me find the free version of the ArcSoft software...

There must be other software that can capture from teh HDPVR? Dose anyone know any?

VirtualDub does not see it?

Windows Media Center, Arcsoft Total Media Extreme, DVBViewer, GB-PVR, MythTV, SageTV, or... if you really want to get serious about it, http://blog.arogan.com/2008/06/hauppauge-hd-pvr-model-1212.html.

The best solution for normal users is Windows Media Center (directly supported by Hauppauge).

There is no free version of Arcsoft, there is a version that is packaged free-of-charge with selected Hauppage devices ;)
I would stick with the original software unless there are sound arguments not to use it....
