Has anyone tried this, i am thinking of giving it a go after once i have my system re-compiled from the ground up.

I am curious as i noticed the other day while installing directx under wine to get a windows 3d app working and i noticed they had .net listed there also. Rather than waste my time if it doesn't work, was hoping someone might have already tried this and could tell me if it works. Thinking of seeing if i can get dgmpgdec and dgdecnv working under it too.

If they do work i will be a happy bunny :)

A lot of .NET apps can be run using mono.

have tried mono before, it never worked then, and not too sure it will now, something else to add to the test list :)

DGDecNV won't work since it depends on low-level hardware support. Wine would need an NVCUVID implementation that uses VDPAU.

DGMPGDec should work fine.

guess it was a good idea for me to install an emu and run windows inside of it ;)
