Rebuilding Super 8

Not sure if what I describe below is a bug so I thought I would start a new thread.

I was doing a BD25 rebuild of Super 8 (region A). I wanted to split the movie to make 2 discs using the new editing features. Disc 1 is the main feature with full menu. Disc 2 is all extras with full menu.

I used the Movie and Menu option to make the movie and menu (of course) and this process worked perfectly to make my Disc 1.

I used the edit mode to select everything but the main movie for Disc 2. Well, this didn't work so well. I had a Black screen in the background (where there should have been video and sound) with the menu on the bottom. I was able to navigate through the menu but nothing was played when selected. Basically, Disc 2 just did not work.

Did I miss something? Is the main feature somehow tied to the main menu?

So any ideas why Disc 2 did not work? Appreciate any feedback.

I happen to have that disc on my hard drive right now. I'll blank the feature and see what happens on my player. I have some jobs in the queue though, so it might be a while.

Hey jdobbs,

I just tried to make "Disc 2" of Super 8 with just the extras and menu again with v0.39.06 and everything worked great. So whatever you did in the last update seemed to work.
