What's wrong?

I've trying to get a dvd music video burned to a cdr and then play on my playstation 2. What are something I could be doing wrong?
Will i have to get a modchip installed to be able to play minidvds?

i think there is no way taht PS2 will play Mini DVDs and a mod chip wouldn`t make these things better.
