I set a BD25 reencode last night and I wake up and its stopped at 46% with a "x264.exe has stopped working" window up.

Everything in the inspect thing says "Ok".

What could be the problem here?

Not overclocked. Where do I get the log? I'm pretty simple with this program I just do.

Nevermind I'm an idiot. I'm trying the encode again I'll post what the log says if I get the same error.

Also to note - I had to clean install my computer a few days ago. Previously BD Rebuilder has worked fine. I have a feeling I am missing some codec or some install even though the inspection says everything is ok.

you have any codec pack's installed? Seems like something took over the ffdshow frameserving settings.

Nothing. I am however installing a different version of ffdshow even though I installed the recommended one for the version of BD Rebuilder I have.

Source says XXXX. Is this a commercial blu-ray or is it a download? Makes a big difference to get help here. What is the name of the movie?
Also why version 0.39.02 when the latest beta is 0.03?

The movie is The Tree of Life. Its a download. Does it matter that I'm trying to reencode this went its mounted?

Also I thought I honestly though I had the latest version downloaded. I don't know how I ended up getting 02 must have been an accident.

A download is illegal and has been pre-processed by other software.

Bye-Bye......

Ch3vr0n

As JJB sais, if its a download it has been preprocessed often resulting in settings being used that are non-blu-ray compliant or causing issues like yours. The fact is that there are too many unknown variables that were applied to your download for jdobbs to even begin diagnosing the problem. That's why jdobbs refuses any bugreport that has a preprocessed source. Come back when you've got the same problem with the original disc

I fixed it anyway. Something wrong with ffdshow even though I was using the recommended version. Installed a different version and it works perfectly.

don't come crying when something else goes wrong when you use a different versions. Sounds like something else took over the frameserving like i said. Reinstall the correct version.
