steal 10,25,33,50%????what option use you ?
For example for 600MB?

I leave everything at the default settings. That's why I set them as the default.

Also depends on what the extras are. If it's Megan Fox taking her clothes off I would encode it at full bitrate. If it's Hugh Hefner accidentally dropping his bathrobe, I'd drop the bitrate to 0.1 Bps or so. :D

I don't use DVD Rebuilder but if I did, I would probably follow the advice in this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1540727#post1540727) post.

As always there is no best. If you compress down to DVD5 you will definitely loose quality. But it all depends on the individual source. I am for example absolutely not interested in interviews as extras but I like additional scenes or alternate endings. Normally they have a descent quality from the beginning so I reencode them in Half D1 and reduce the bitrate for these cells manually after prepare phase by around 50% so that average bitrate is about 2.400 kbit/s. But try yourself and tell us your experience. Mine is that extras with already descent quality look almost the same in Half D1 with half the bitrate. So there is a lot of free space you can put on the main movie afterwards.
