If you are a US citizen you might want to prevent the SOPA and PROTECT IP bills from getting passed.
If it does, sites like doom9.org, dvdfab.com, Slysoft.com,makemkv.com and many more will cease to exist.

This legislation will stifle free speech and innovation, and even threaten popular web services like Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook and many others.
