sharpening images

question about using Avisynth via Fritzphoto for sharpening images.
How sharpen the slightly unsharped parts and the out depth of field keep almost untouched?

I'd say with Photoshop or GIMP using masking techniques. You could adapt a 'fake DOP' tutorial to selectively sharpen the areas of interest.
