Hi10P thumbnail generation results in 100% CPU

Ever since the use of Hi10P encoding techniques, my I am genuinely afraid to go into folders where Hi10P files are stored since they seem to crash my explorer.exe.

I think the cause is the fact that the Divx Tech Preview is generating thumbnails for my files.

So are there any solutions to this problem other than disabling DivX tech Preview?

LAV filters .39 or greater and
.NET Framework 4 installed via Windows update.

DivX Tech for generating thumbnails has always been buggy for me. On my Win x64 machine, when creating/copying/other IO Matroska files, it always led to excessive RAM usage bogging down Windows. On top of that it does not deinstall properly... This is to say, as long as it is installed, don't expect normal things to behave normally, let alone rather experimental things like 10-bit h.264.

One of the reasons I am mentioning this is because it took me more than a week to figure out what was causing the problems. DivX Tech thumbnail generation is not as harmless as one may think.
