I guess all that is available is beta and i'm using the current version and all the required programs ie ffshow and all is fine untill BD Rebuilder gets to the second pass and then it shuts down my pc and i'm using the default settings and do not have shutdown after
rebuild selected under the file menu.
Each time it shuts down the pc I start it back up and resume until i run out of retries. It will go from 50 % to about 54% and
that is about where it shuts down.

Hi!
1) What is the source material that you're using?
2) What software and procedures are you using to initially rip it?

I ripped the BD version of Speed that has HD audio and has one large movie file in the form of a .m2ts.
I used AnyDVD to rip to HDD BD structure ie BDMV and Certificate .
I just tried handbrake to do encode it for me and the PC shutdown again so it must not be related to BD Rebuilder and has something to do with encoding.
When i'm not encoding anything it stays powered on. This is ODD...
I'm going to take the cover off the pc and trying blowing it out and get a monitoring program to monitor the cpu temp
while encoding. I am also updating my antivirus and firewall software and scanning for infections and just noticed that
windows 7 has SP1 waiting to install.

This sounds like a good idea. Your description leaves me thinking that it is probably an overheating or stability problem. Is your system overclocked? If so, try slowing it down a little.

Definitely. The second pass is the point where the processor really gets exercised. I'd put odds on overheating as the problem.

A memory check with memtest should be a good idea also.

I'm not overclocked, i have a quad core 2.4 and 6 GB or ram.
I installed Core Temp (http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp /?utm_source=CTGadget) and the add on widget (http://dl.installiq.com/postback/V2/landing.aspx?npx=&spx=&rc=13&a=13307&f=CoreTemp&cc=840&rd=False&pq=1&unique=True&ps=7cf6250e-6b3f-4894-8577-31f3b0bc1c40&a2=US&pc=&bb=False&v=-1&s=coretemp&thankyou=http%3a%2f%2fwww.alcpu.com%2fCoreTemp%2faddons.html) and my temps were 74-76 on all 4 cores and after a good cleaning
i'm down to 54 deg on all cores and my ram is running at 48 % so i should be good now.....

I imagine that those temp values were reported when the processor was in the same state; probably idle? If so then it really indicates that heat was a significant issue. 75c at idle is way too high, leaving you very little headroom for the heat load created when the processor is really loaded, like when doing video encoding.
You should look at your temps while the video encoding is actually happening. Processor load should go to near 100% and the temps will spike quickly, settling to a stable temp after less than a minute. Under those conditions a value of 75c is not so bad.

bad.
The temp 75 C was when i was encoding in the 2nd pass so i shutdown the pc and blew the dust out of the pc. When i started the pc up again i was at 34 C at idle and 54 C when in the second pass of encoding.

Yes, BD Rebuilder is working great now. My PC what the source of the problem. There was quite a bit of dust within the blades of the heat sink fan and case fans. Thank you for your help and concern.
