I have success with rebuilding Source Code.
Made BD25 with version 0.39.02. Disk is Region A. Burned to Memorex BD-RE.
Stripped movie trailers. Movie is MPEG4(AVC).
Movie has secondary video with DTS Express audio track.
Movie played perfectly complete with DTS Express audio in:
Panasonic BD-35
Samsung BD-C6300T
PS3
Movie played perfectly EXCEPT for DTS Express audio in:
PowerDVD 11

Great job, jdobbs. So far so good.

Another report of a successful BD build but with minor problems.

I have success with rebuilding the movie 9 (CG animated flick - pretty good actually).
Made BD25 with version 0.39.02. Disk is Region A. Burned to Verbatium BD-RE.
Movie is VC-1. Most extras are VC-1 with a couple that are also MPEG2.
Movie has secondary video with DTS Express audio track. Universal titles have a feature called U-Control.
Movie played perfectly complete with DTS Express audio in:
Panasonic DMP- BD35 ***(see notes below what I had to do to make it work!)
Samsung BD-C6300T
PS3
Movie played perfectly EXCEPT for DTS Express audio in:
PowerDVD 11 (Question: does anyone know if PowerDVD even has the proper codec built in to play DTS Express?? That would explain why the audio never works, eh!?)

**Edit** Answered my own question. The original plays the DTS Express audio therefore PowerDVD does have the capability to decode DTS Express.

For straight rebuilds with the standard settings, the movie would not play the PIP video on the Panasonic DMP-BD35. The audio would play but there was no video. In order to make it work on the Panasonic, I used the switch MIN_M2TS_SIZE=2600. This setting made only the movie re-encode and left all the extras untouched. Now, I know this is not the most efficient workaround because it takes space away from the movie, but maybe this is a clue to other movies that people have trouble. Maybe jdobbs can have a look and comment.

So hopefully people find this info useful. Til the next movie.

that switch should probably not matter. Is your audio setup properly to use secondairy audio. go into the setup menu > audio (i think) > you should see 2-3 options at the top there that you can set to bitstream and one at the bottom called BD-Video Secundairy Audio. Set that one to "on" and that should be all. (this ofcourse is all based on the assumption that the menu of a BD35 is the same (or similar to my BD85)

Yes...I have all the settings set properly on the BD35. I do have the secondary audio and video working with it. Thanks!

You should now be testing v.39.03...

I did with Priest but the other 2 movies were done prior to the 0.39.02 release. Since they worked on the previous version, I did no further testing.

Using v0.39.03, I did full backups (2-Pass, Highest Quality, tune --film) of Battle Los Angeles, Risky Business, RED and 30 Minutes Or Less. All four titles have a PiP video track on them and use DTS Express for Secondary Audio, except Risky Business which uses Dolby Digital Plus. I burned the backups on BD-RE discs and tested them on a PlayStation 3 and a Philips 7500 Mk II.

I'm happy to report that all four backups worked perfectly on both players (well, except Cinavia on Sony titles effed things up on the PS3 but that's got nothing to with BD-RB). Secondary video and audio played without a hitch, there were no issues with audio mixing or anything else either. Kudos, jdobbs, kudos!

For those that have been reporting in the Bugs forum that DTS Express is not working in PowerDVD 11....I have never seen it work yet. It may be related to the same problem that jdobbs has with the Sony compatibility. I am sure he will figure it out. He seems to be a smart guy! ;-)

Also, anyone try the PocketBlu app on their iPad or Android tab yet? Tried it on my Acer Android tab. Pretty cool to see the extras synced with the video streaming to the tablet. It even works on the ripped copy!!
