Blanking Titles in PgcEdit 9.3

When I make my kids backup dvd's, I always utilize the Jump2Pgc function to skip titles and jump directly to the disc's menu. However, when I recently backed up a movie, I noticed that when you click on PLAY, it then plays 2 more warning messages that delay the start of the main movie by around 60 seconds. Can PgcEdit blank these or skip them to just play the main movie?

The easiest way to get rid of the warning is to blank them. Use the trace with the preview, and tick the "blank this cell" checkbox when a warning is played. Or, if the warning is in its own PGC, you can also use Blank Out All PGCs Of Domain. Note that the PGC containing the warning will still be visited, but the video will not be played any more.

It is theoretically possible to completely skip the warnings, with a method similar to Jump2PGC, but there is no automatic way to do it. The manual method is explained briefly in post #2 of this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=682859#post682859). (It explains how to skip some logos that are before the main menu, but it should be applicable to logos or warnings after the menu as well. In your case, point A is the pre-commands of the first logo or the post commands of the menu outro, and point B the main movie. Do NOT use the post-commands of the menu as point A, or your menu will probably not work any more!)

Anyway, I recommend to blank the warnings first. You will regain some disc space, and it's much easier. Then, if you think that the navigation from the menu to the movie is still too slow, do an incremental backup, and apply that method.
