Hello.

So I just updated to the latest CCCP from a version that was several years old and I've lost the ability to detailed info about certain video types eg. the duration and dimensions of .mkv and .mp4 in the explorer columns.

After some searching I found out that I was previously able to see such details with some feature of haali that has since been removed.

So is there anyway using some other program (or the like) to get the details to display again?

Using windows xp sp3

Cheers

Do you rally need that info in Windows Explorer? Can't simply use MediaInfo or AVInaptic ???

If you have Explorer Tooltips enabled in MediaInfo, you can get all the basic information by just holding the mouse pointer over the file name.

I'd really prefer to be able to see all the file details without having to hover over each file individually. Like if I wanna watch a movie but I've only got a spare 90mins it's alot easier being able to see the length of all the movies at once. Or if I wanna tell what the aspect ratio of a whole series is (by different groups)

So I'd really like something that can get all that info back but keep my updated CCCP. I thought that perhaps "MatroskaPropv2.8" would work but I just keep getting error messages. Any other ideas?

Cheers

New Features:
A shell extension was removed from the splitter. This will be available seprately at a later date.
Since Haali never made it available separately years later (compatibility issues with the thumbnail handler on Vista & Win7 I believe was the reason he pulled it), download the last available version of mmfinfo.dll (http://www.mediafire.com/?l7x5qe8tzvpl97z) from Haali's January 2009 MatroskaSplitter package.

Place it in your Haali directory.

Disable the MediaInfo Explorer Tooltip.

Follow the CCCP instructions here (http://www.cccp-project.net/wiki/index.php?title=Issues:Matroska_Shell_Integration).

Re-enable the MediaInfo Explorer Tooltip if desired.

Wow thanks so much man, this worked perfectly :)

One question though. Will this still work if I change from the latest CCCP to MPC-HC + madVR via this guide (http://coalgirls.wakku.to/?page_id=4611) or LAV Filters + MPC HC via this guide? (http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2011/06/30/guide-setting-up-lav-filters-mpc-hc-for-all-your-splitter-and-audio-needs/) for better 10bit support.

Thanks again
