WMV encoding.

So here's the thing. I have this HD Concert in a WMV file. And i want to edit it with Premiere Pro CS5. But PPCS5 does not take my WMV.

So i thought: Hey let's convert it so PP can read it.

I now tried to encode it to h.264 in a mp4 container like 4 times now and no program seems to work (HandBrake, MeGUI)

Does anyone know how i get this file in a h.264 in a mp4 container.

In Handbrake, what happens if you choose MPEG-4 (FFMpeg) instead of H.264 (x264) for the video codec?
(Possibly ignore the above - I may have misread post #1).
