I haven't been active in video filtering & encoding for a while but a friend ask me if I know a good upscaler.
From my photography work I've read several papers about upscaling like this one (http://www.cs.huji.ac.il/~raananf/projects/lss_upscale/paper.pdf). Now I wonder if there's any comparable upscaling filter available for avisynth?
Hopefully someone can help me finding the best upscaling method available for avisynth for either normal film and/or cartoon / animated content.
