I try to cut MPEG-4/H.264 TS file, but It has widescreen signaling (WSS) from 4:3 to 16:9 and after I go to the frame with the change of aspect ratio, the software I use do it (StaxRip, MEGui, etc.) gets an error of serious problem and "windows (7) close it immediately".
I have Haali Media Splitter and FFDshow with libvacodec installed.
EDIT: Installing older version of FFDshow helped.

Strictly speaking that's not called Wide Screen Signalling. That's just a SAR change.

Ok, but the error is still occuring... Even with older ffdshow ffmpeg/libva - i tried everyting. It's so frustrating, beacuse I can't edit any file :(

Have you checked the file against [transmission] errors?

Run tsmuxer (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR) on the file and use it to split the original file into two. You'll then have a 4:3 ts file to encode and a 16:9 ts file to encode.
Or assuming you only want to encode one of them I think tsmuxer will let you change the aspect ratio of the entire file when you re-mux it, then you might be able to cut it using your usual method.

I used BD Rebuilder and it's function of accustoming fdshow for Win7 - and it works now.

Hi! I used BD Rebuilder and it's function of accustoming fdshow for Win7
Please explain further - because unless something has changed VERY recently, BD Rebuilder accepts only Blu-rays for input...

I opened BD Rebuilder. The program has showed a message, that my ffdshow isn't accustomed to Windows 7 and asked me, If I want to let BD for doing it. After few seconds I closed BD and tried again to cut my DVB broadcast in StaxRip - and it worked perfectly!

Use smart cutting (a cutter with smart rendering engine). Provided the stream if error-free.
