Audio delay while playing a video - is that possible?

Folks,
I need to find some program/player that can play a video with some external audio (that is not embedded on this video - or embedded, it doesn't matter), but (and here's my problem) that can do the same Media Player Classic does, with subtitles - a delay (+ or -) in this audio.

I mean, I was wondering if we can watch this video and use some key to delay the audio while watching that video without any modification.

One more thing: I would be using SOUND FORGE after I check this whole thing to know exactly how many seconds I need to cut from each scene or insert to make the whole audio match the video, but now it's currently out of sync.

I am trying to adjust the sync inserting a dubbing on my video. Do you recommend any specific tool?

Sorry, maybe I misunderstand, but MPC-HC can delay not only subtitles but also audio. :confused:

Look into the key configuration.Sorry, it's really there. It seems that I couldn't find due to some language barrier (when I switched to english, I was able to find the "Audio delay" option).

Do you know if there are any programs that can play a video and some audio, but have the same features from Sound Forge, which means, we can adjust the dubbing/sync from the 2nd track (the audio) to match the video?

That would be more effective than using MPC-HC, I guess.

P.S. I'll check with VLC, MPC-HC is having problems delaying the audio. Too much delay = mutes the video and requires restart.

The ffdshow raw audio filter can also delay audio, that's what I use to compensate for the 40ms input latency of my monitor.

You probably need a NLE, such as Sony Vegas if you want the ability to easily slip the audio and edit the video. When you have everything to your liking, you can render the results to DVD, or BD.

Zoom Player has this functionality, as long as the audio is decoded on the PC (and not sent digitally over s/pdif or hdmi).
The keyboard shortcuts are Shift+Pad"+" and Shift+Pad"-". The audio is resynched in 25ms increments.
