MPC plugins for better (fake) fps?

i have a new plasma and if it's connected from my PS3 and i play blurays, then it detects the 24hz source and does its magic.

now, when connected from my PC of course, it only ever sees the 60hz source and my PC has the work of doing all everything

now the question - MPC-HC has the optino to upscale/resise (using bicupic A at the moment) and looks good. is there something similar i can use to create virtual frames as well like the TV would do if it was fed a 24hz source (change it to 72 and use motion blur etc in between?).

just setup your PC / graphic adapter to put out 24Hz 1080p.
It shouldn't be too difficult.

true but it's not feasible to do that for every little video you want to watch. for a movie, yea, but for a 20 min ep - less so

You can do it automatically with MPC-HC in options->reproduction->Full screen.

Check JanWillem32's experimental branch of MPC-HC. There's a new option
called "Constant Frame Interpolator" in his built.

Maybe that'll help.

I just translated the name from Spanish. Enter the menu view->options. Second one in the tree contains "Full Screen" which has the auto-switch (auto-change) resolution adjustments.
