Long time Canopus AV-DV user wants something bigger, In PAL!

Hi,

Like the other guy looking for a modern alt to capping PAL VHS, im in the same boat, decided that DV was no longer 'hip' and want to cap pure RGB/YUY2, I'm pretty serious about what im doing and have amassed a pile of various VHS/Beta decks over the years and of course have a TBC.

Been out of the loop 'computer' wise for the last few years, so looking at the only option 'DTB cards' Im all confused, the other post diddnt come to any conclusions either!

Just for a laff I bought a DC60, took ages to get working, and then when it did finally work properly the Chroma layer was all wrong one odd field is one frame too early...

So any suggestions would be great, I have a few computers with various 'connectors' so PCI-E, AGP, PCI and at a push could revive a ISA board, also have every operating system, so no dramas If it has to be one or the other.

as there are now no dedicated cap cards available what would be the best of the current DVB cards?
I work in PAL 720x576 and its VERY important that I keep the interlace!

Thanks, Very nice bit of kit that, Thanks for the link, will defentaly be saving up for one of those, AQt nearly 700$AU its way too much at the timebeing, But in the meantime, Do need a cheaper alternative, Long story, Been out of work for last 18 months, Sick, and you don't get benefits in Australia, so looking for something around 50-150$ AU, seeing I am not doing anything, thought it was time to get as much VHS that i want to keep onto BluRay.

Any other cards?

Any thoughts on the card? Will be using the DTV side very little, So just looking for the Caping side, Oh and audio Ill be taking in from my good Sounblaster Audiolgy card, so just looking at Image, sound is sorted.

Ohh sooo close! 200$ is just a tad too much at the moment, But nice gear and one of those is going onto my list of 'cant live without' Items
anyone ever used a AVerTV Hybrid Super 007 for capping?

if you're in Australia, you might get lucky on ebay or gumtree even.

a lot of post places are closing their doors, or downsizing, and there's a lot of old cards out there.
