Greetings, (I hope this is in the right forum)
I've been using DVDRP for a long time - basically only adding chapters to jump passed "Title" and "Previously on" (Recap) segments. I've done a few episodes that required a portion of video to be jumped over. In other words, my ability to mod the DVD structure is limited and because I don't run menu's on anything, has been sufficient until now.
One of my requirements is that I can back up the modded ifo files, so I can drop them over the originals should I need to re-create (without having to carry out all the work again). A lot of modding doesn't allow this (like blanking video streams etc)
For the first time I have an episodic disc that uses a "Previously On" segment that is a different title than the main episode - eg Episode 2 (Title5) has a "Previously ON" segment that is (Title 6). You turn on the "Recap" in the menu.
Obviously, the easiest would be to just use Title5 and forget about the "Previously On" segment (Title6), but I'd like to have it has sometimes long periods of time can pass between watching various episodes.
DVDShrink can rip out both titles, but not in anyway that makes them correctly playable. If opened in DVDRP, you end up having 2 VTS sets, but I only really want one.
Can someone help me achieve this using DVDremakePro? And...is it possible to do it in a way that allows the modded ifo files to be dropped over the originals and everything still works?
