Encode with no process (copy pass through as is 1-1).

Is this possible with henc have project that needs this. Appreciate not the way we normaly use henc. Sometimes though i have tasks that i need to henc this way.

Have anyone a settings hc.ini that they like to share or make that does this.

HCEnc is a MPEG-2 encoder. MPEG-2 is not lossless. If you need an intermediate, lossless format use hufyuv, Lagarith, etc.

MPEG-2 is not lossless i know this but still need as near lossless pass through if exists. Consider one project could be to reduce bitrate to actual video bitrate +1000

Video bitrate set at 14000 kb/s actual bitrate is 4000 kb/s could use the above when known to change video to have 5000 kb/s. Much as dvd patcher able to do, though for when that has problems. Actual have a few projects one i just mentioned is very simple the others aren't so simple.

I don't really understand what you are trying to achieve and why.

???
I would call this as increase bitrate...

Video bitrate set at 14000 kb/s actual bitrate is 4000 kb/s could use the above when known to change video to have 5000 kb/s. Much as dvd patcher able to do, though for when that has problems.
Well, I understand this.
You have a source material encoded @ 14000 kpbs (14 Mbps) and your first encoding was at 4000 kbps (4 Mbps). Is this right? And now you want to re-encode your source @ 5000 kbps, isn't it? Your encoder now can extrapolate informations to re-encode your first 4Mbps clip into a new 5Mbps clip but I strongly recommend this against. Instead do a shiny new encode using your source material (it's 14 Mbps, so I assume it's encoded with quite high quality).

Actual have a few projects one i just mentioned is very simple the others aren't so simple.
Maybe the project is simple but, believe, understand it is not so simple :)

A more simplified example:

Bitrate:
Source 14000 kbps
Output 5000 kbps

Reduce the bitrate alone, with all other hcenc settings are set to make no other change to the video.

HCenc will have to make changes to all of the video for it to be able to encode it as 5000kbps.

Never mind i forgot about restream and easily changed to correct bitrate without encoding. Also noticed some other tools that can easily do this. I think is possible with hcenc but no one has realized that yet except the hcenc developer.

I think hcenc has lots of possibilities that very few have written about. That many more (me included) know about.

Restream cannot actually change the bitrate without re-encoding. It might have changed the header info, but it did not actually change the bitrate of your video.
