Sincere Apology

Please delete the bad post by me. I was on drug when that happened. Xvid's drug to be precise.

After I went to read some of the isonews forum( which one of the poster has mentioned), which I did not know about, and i started to realize that my original humorous intention in my comments have no humor in them after all. I sincerely apologize for that post.

Anyway, I think xvid is very good and it has great potential. However, there is one question. DivX has a potential hardware support now that SigmaDesign has announced its join venture with DivX network. will Xvid works on that same support?

I might be guilty of this as well;) In my defense and others though seeing the same old questions posted, knowing the user never put forth any effort to reearch first does get a little tiresome. So I would say that some people on this board needs to get some common sense and stop being lazy.

This isn't directed torward anyone specific it's just some insight as to wh ypeople might be a bit dry on the board:)

If this Sigma whatchymajigger is MPEG-4 compliant, then XviD will work as well as DivX.

Oh, and I thought your post was fine. Though you weren't trolling, the occasional trouble-maker is fun too - it's the kind of variety that keeps places like slashdot interesting for me, and a lot of others too :)
