i can't get VDUB to create a .vdr while framserving.

Hi

Trying to add subtitles with by using VDub as a framserver.
So far it seems to be working with the correct subtitles showing up in VDUB however when i try to use it as a framserver, it doesn't create a .vdr file i can use.

I'm following this guide here

Instead it just creates a 1kb file with no file extension and this is not useable in Tempgenc.

Any help appreciated.

Which version of VDub are you using? Try to explicitly give the .vdr extension when you give the filename. ie enter the filename with extension .vdr.
Sometimes TMPGEnc has problems opening vdr files. I faced the same problem. I downloaded the ReadAVS.dll TMPGEnc plugin and installed it and it started reading without problems since then.
