I have been using this burner with great success for sometime on another computer and want to install it on my other xpsp3 and since it has bee quite sometime, I tried the software install and that did not give me what I was looking for.
I had a file on my other computer desktop that contained the book management.exe, the tool tech.exe that checked the number of the firmware I was using and also the 47N that I was using with great success.
When I used my BneQ i burned in DVD-rom all of the time and I would cliick on my file on my old desktop on the other computer and Benq with a purple Header would open up with BenQ title and I would choose from a drop down menu of whether I wanted to use my internal burner or Benq and I would choose the book management for dvd-rom and it was permanently set.
now I can't find how I got this set-up. All the CD has that came with the unit is the software.
I hope an experienced member can direct me to where I can get the unit setup.
I look forward to hearing from someone in order that I can get this other xpsp3 so that I can start burning dvds.
Thank you.
