Hello.

I don't know whether he writes in the appropriate for this topic. If not, please transfer the case to the right place, but hopefully not to the trash :) Thank you

I would like to ask You - the professionals, for help in laying the script to compress a series. I have a problem with a few things and I can't choose the optimal settings.
Information on sources:
from GSpot:

from VirtualDub:
http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/8486/anime1k.th.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/844/anime1k.jpg/)

As a result, I want to get:
- avi file (XviD) ~ 235MB
- 640x480 resolution
- sharper video image

Here are the problems that I can't handle:
1. Programs report that the file has 23.967 fps. After changing to 25 in any way doesn't fit where fit. This is a Japanese source, so perhaps You can use any other trick, which compiles material so that it corresponds to the standard TV USA / Europe? I haven't ran into any idea. None of the filters I used didn't work. :( Enclosed is a sample download.

You can check on it, if you succeed to achieve the effect I wanted? Time is 1:00,352, and ultimately, should be 54.520 s

2. As You probably noticed, when changing the frame to another, is visible at the bottom (or top) display the white bar (damage). This flaw is conspicuous when viewed. Is there any way get rid of it? I can remove the frame from the flaw, but hand it will be very time consuming. Can it be automated in a script? Finally I thought to use cropping and crop blemish, but in this case, it is a pity to cut my image because only a single frame. Please any advice on this.

3. And the last thing in terms of visual quality. For less is OK. It seems to me that the picture is too blurry ... whether it can effectively improve somehow? Very nice suggestions would be welcome scripts. I really care about this anime in the form that I want to do. Please help and thank you very much for your attention.

Waiting for your reply:)

How did you get a DVD in WMV9 format?

This is my copy, which I did good a few years ago. I don't remember how I did it, probably a simple program to convert DVD to WMV video I found on google. I had no knowledge of compression, so that's what came out - satisfied me (then). Now, when the DVD is damaged (scratched and doesn't play :( ), I found this (on another DVD) and I would like to "fix" this copy, but I have thats problems I have mentioned.

By the way (because I come from Europe) I would like to change the fps to like it should be. If you can, because I haven't found on this way. Any change 29 -> 25; 25 -> 23; and others, none reaching the such time as it should. Therefore, among others turn to you for help.

BTW.You sorry for my English, I'm still learning. :)
