DVD with weird PGC structure

I have a DVD on which the main movie is all in one title set, but is split (arbitrarily it seems) into several PGCs, as follows:

PGC1 - 20:05
PGC2 - 05:02
PGC3 - 53:02
PGC4 - 07:46
PGC5 - 03:22 (trailer)

Within PGCDemux, I can select to demux by VOB ID and this then gives me the full movie. However, when I go into VOB Blanker, I can only replace by PGC, not VOB ID. Is there any way to replace by VOB ID? I tried doing it for each PGC and I ended up with audio out of sync in the third and fourth PGCs.

I am adding subtitles FWIW. I've worked on many DVDs but have never come across this problem before.

I guess is better which get a backup from IFOs , then by PgcEdit merge 4 pgcs into a single pgc, then use VobBlank.
for merge 4 pgcs into a single one, the way is:

-clone a pgc (i.e. PGC1) as new TTN and Title
-in new pgc, doble-click on it, and set VobID/Cell ID which is your desire.
-and set commands to new pgc instead pgc 1
-finally for delete 4 pgcs, clear any jumps from anywhere to these pgcs and use from "Delete Uncalled PGCs"

If all PGCs are in the same VTS, it is probably simpler to select the first PGC and use Title -> New 'Play All' Title. It will join automatically all cells in a new PGC. Just verify that the cells are in the correct order, tick all Seamless Joint flags, and verify if the chapter points are at the correct positions. Then, redirect the jumps to the original PGC 1 to the new PGC, and copy the post-commands of the original LAST PGC to the post-commands area of the new PGC. It is not necessary to delete the original PGCs, as you will not regain disc space anyway, but you might want to use Title -> Remap Title Numbers to assign the title number 1 to the main movie. Verify with the trace if the title plays correctly, and if the buttons of the chapter menu lead to the correct chapters.
