Few questions about editing HD files

Hello. I'm new on this forum and I would like to ask you about few things. I have a lot of material in FULL HD 1080i, but it's hard to render and edit. My dream is can work on it in real time. Next I will tell you about my ideas and problems.

1. Video layers

I like work on photoshop and especially, on layers. For example I have 2 versions of video (in my case-football match) and I don't like, when I have tv logo on picture. First version has non transparent logo in left down corner. The second one has transparent logo, but in right up corner. Now I would like to put video 1 on video 2 (like photoshop layers) and cut this area, where is tv logo. (explain on screenshot). Is it possible to edit my videos this way by video editing software? Effect is so cool, but I didn't find good program with this function yet.

2. Motion help

Both of these pictures (ntv+ and sky uk) come from FULL HD 1080i25fps video. I read a lof of about motion interpolation from 25fps to even 72 fps, but video has artifacts. I think, that motion interpolation compare neighbour frames of video and add another beetween them. It's very smooth, but in dynamic scenes appear artifacts. And there's my new idea. I have another version of this video - 720p60fps, which has much more frames. I know, that quality is lower, but maybe is possible to resist on frames from this video in motion interpolation. Can anyone tell me, is it possible and if yes, then how?

3. Multi audio tracks

Next thing is adding audio tracks. My intention is make multiaudio video with various commentaries - italian, german, french, spanish etc. Most of "homemade" videos with multitracks are in MKV format with MP3 audio. It's made by MKVmerge or sth like this. I don't want to do any compression of file, for me the most important is quality. I would like to add AC3 or MP2 tracks to M2TS or TS video file. It's very similar to blu-ray productions, where are few languags for movie - english, russian, korean etc. And important thing - I want to edit audio on timeline (like in premiere pro cs5) e.g. I have video timeline and under this audio timeline. Then I can move it to star, end, middle of video.. Do you get it?

4. Better voice

I would like to fix some audio tracks - they have noise, too high treble etc. Can I do it by change equalize settings? I'm newbie in editing audio, so if someone can help me with improve audio quality I will be very thankful.

5. Creating blu-ray menu

I worked on nero creator and this one had really nice optins, but I want sth more. I need to add short animations eg. shine, when you mark 'play' button, short video actions in background...I saw beautiful menu in "Basic Instinct".

6. SOFTWARE

All these things I need for editing my video. First three opints may be in one program, last 2 can be editing in separate software. It's very imporant for me to find exact program and know how to edit my material. If someone can suggest sth, explain me some things, or even edit video for me, I can pay for it ;)

Welcome to the forum.

The first one is fairly simple. I use AviSynth but I suppose NLE's can do it. Open them both in an AviSynth script, crop down one in a location so it'll replace the logo of the other. Then just overlay it on top of the other. I'm assuming that the two videos are identical in every respect except for the location of the logos. And that may be a big assumption.

2. i would check http://avisynth.org.ru/ (mv tools) and do a good search on this very forum about the subject.

3. you can use any multitrack audio editing / recording software for that (you could do the same in premiere for example, you may need to make a proxy video file of your original especially for the specific editors timeline, something fast - maybe dv of some sort), when finnished export the tracks and mux them into your original (mkv should support a lot of stuff, so that would be my first try), also you may want to check the free/(soon to be OS?) windows editor http://www.lightworksbeta.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=108&Itemid=247 - expect some learning.

4. see what the same software you picked in 3. can do considering noise. "capture noise profile" may be the keyword to search for in the manual, you can try to clean noise completely and then overlay unclead version on top of that to mix accordingly, and yes eq may help.

5. no idea, but i'd check cs5 production premium for a combo of premiere, after effects and encore (expect pain in the b*** workflow, good script/organization may help you some)
