Hi all,

I am searching for a mvc decoder which can decode all MVC conformance streams. Does anybody have any recommendations?
JMVC can decode most of them, but not all of them.
Thanks.

I don't think there are any good decoders out there (except perhaps the unreleased CoreMVC). You could add support to ffmpeg without too much trouble.

Perhaps you can try MainConcept's MVC decoder.

The MVC Decoder from Stereoscopic Player is not good?

It can't play raw h264 as far as I can tell.

Stereoscopic Player = CoreMVC

Maybe you should get in direct contact with pwimmer about this? If there is an issue, I think there is a good chance that he will resolve it.

Use MainConcept's MPEG2 demuxer.

Can you please show us the SS of the filter chain behind SP (recent v 1.7.2) while it is playing right.h264?

BTW MCDemultiplexer could only try to demux left.h264 when you select left and right together.

And another one with Haali:

How did you load the AVC/MVC Decoder in GraphStudio?
He doesn't show up in my filter list. Stereoscopic Player is installed and the other filters from 3dtv.at are listed.

Use MainConcept's MPEG2 demuxer.

Or Cyberlinks,Arcsofts as well as AV Splitter ;) (Lav Splitter has still seeking problems)

Unless there is actually a decoder like CoreMVC available to the general public (and not only through that one player), i won't spend all that much time on it. :)

ehh the seeking problems are a generic raw issue compared to AV Splitter, it's not decoder specific seeking fails for most bitstreams also with lav video as decoder ;)

Would this decoder work on MPC-HC for 3D-Bluray ripped mvc stream playback?

MainConcept (BroadCast) H.264 v.9.0.0.54256

Isn't there any free/commercial mvc decoder solution to playback 3D-Bluray video on software players MPC-HC or PotPlayer?

free non commercial yes but it's not easy as just putting a filter somewhere and getting a result you need to update splitter, decoder and renderer in MPC-HC, and then you still could not play entire blu-rays yet what you want is a blu-ray player from one of the top isvs with 3D Blu-Ray support :)
Though Madshi is working to make MadVR 3D capable this would then be the first non commercial Renderer that would support it

I didn't know. I am really happy for hearing that.
Madshi, thanks in advance!
