I suppose that this means that BD-Rebuilder wasn't able to correctly set the ffdshow settings even when I have run it as admin ??
Is there a way to make these settings manually ??
/Siddus

PS! the bd movie I am trying to rip/copy is 2001-A Space Odyssey..

You can go to ffdshow video decoder configuration, set AVC Codec to libavcodec, VC1 to wmv9, mpeg2 to libmpeg2. ;)

Done, but I think that the error is here:
- WIN7 preferred AVC CODEC: Not Set correctly
- WIN7 preferred VC-1 CODEC: Not Set correctly
- WIN7 preferred MPEG2 CODEC: Not Set correctly
Even though I ran BD-Rebuilder in admin mode it couldn't set the windows fffdshow settings (gave an error that it must run in admin mode ??)..

You say you ran it in Admin mode? Did you right click on the EXE and select "Run as Administrator"? A lot of people think that just because they have admin rights that their apps will run as administrator -- but it's not so.

The incorrect settings are almost assuredly your problem.

Yes, I right-clicked the exe and ran it as admin, but it still seems that BD-Rebuilder couldn't get the settings right..
Now I wonder if there is a manual way to fix this ??

/Siddus Well, BD Rebuilder certainly "gets it right" -- but it doesn't have privileges (or it would be set like it was on the other several thousand computers it has been used on). Are you sure you have rights? It's also possible that some other software you are using is changing it back.

Anyway, yes, it can be done manually. It's a little complicated, but if you search the forum and you will find discussions on it.
